Beech wood and electromagnetic forces

We understand the conductivity as the capacity of a body or material to conduct electricity through it. That is, the ease with which the electrons move within a material.

Therefore:

  • The wood is neutral, not allowing the movement of electricity through it.

  • Unlike, metals are considered good conductors of electricity.

  • Metals are amplifiers for electromagnetic waves emanating from a TV, stereo, mobile phones etc.

We may think that these electromagnetic waves may have low effect, but think that this low effect, will be continuous during all hours of our sleep.

This effect is accentuated when discussing motor systems, because a metal bed frame, keep the current flowing through the engine, around us all night.
